Q&A with Jesse

A&W's BFFF (Best Four-Legged Friend Forever)

What do you like to do when you’re not at the office?

I really don’t have a lot of interests outside eating and sleeping, so it boggles my mind that people think I should fetch a stick or hand them my paw when they ask. What a sad life they have that they need me to entertain them. For gosh sake, watch Letterman and let me sleep!

How old are you in dog years?

I don’t know. Is that your real hair color?

Who’s your favorite TV or Movie dog?

I grew up admiring Scooby Doo, but that Toto, he really gave that witch a run for her money. Hooch looked like a good soul, but I just couldn’t get past all the drooling.

Describe your perfect day.

It starts with sleeping in. Then, I hit up the hydrant and I’m in the car and off to the agency. First stop is the kitchen: Ken’s good for a piece of his banana muffin (although he never uses enough butter). Then it’s off to Jodi’s office. She has a box of bones in her desk. If I do the puppy eyes, I get two… she’s so easy. After a quick nap in front of Betty Boop (a high traffic area; always good for a quick belly rub), I wait in the front lobby for the mailman… who would think a guy with a bum knee could run that fast? This is about the time I go to the back door and wait for Nathan to let me out (the muffin usually goes right through me). Then it’s back to the kitchen to wait for Sandra to make her turkey sandwich. Finally, I head over to Henry’s office for a quick power nap (he never minds a little gas), until it’s time to leave… It’s good to be the Queen!

What’s your favorite trick?

Pretending I’m sleeping so people don’t bother me to do some mindless trick. No one gives me enough credit, but I love these guys anyway. Gotta run, I smell warm muffins!
