Bethpage "Soars"!

May 4, 2010

By: Barbara Esposito

The new branding campaign Austin & Williams created for Bethpage is really taking off. Launched March 15 and featuring the iconic "Beth" and "Paige", the integrated multi-media initiative has generated more than buzz, it's generated solid results for the Long Island credit union.

"People have moved hundreds of thousands of dollars in CD money, auto loans have hit an all-time high, business lending has exceeded all projections and, most importantly, membership is up," according to Rick Chiorando, Chief Creative Officer at Austin & Williams. One new depositor actually mentioned seeing the clever TV commercials as the reason for moving her maturing CD money, Rick notes.

In addition to television, Beth and Paige are featured in all print, radio and outdoor advertising, merchandising and collateral materials and demonstrate the knowledgeable, approachable and service focus of Bethpage employees. They've also made special appearances at some recent branch openings and other events, he adds.

While the pair will not be at the 7th annual Bethpage Air Show at Jones Beach, May 29 – May 30, the U.S. Navy Blue Angels – and other spectacular aerobatics teams – will. For show information, visit www.lovebethpage.com. To see the Beth and Paige campaign, click here.
