Austin & Williams Names Megan Kilgallen Account Executive

September 2, 2007

Long Island, NY - Austin & Williams, a leading New York strategic advertising and marketing agency, recently announced the appointment of Megan Kilgallen as Account Executive. She will be responsible for account management, client liaison and communications. Ms. Kilgallen joins Austin & Williams following her position as Marketing Associate with DOAR Litigation Consulting (Lynbrook, NY).

Prior to her position at DOAR, Ms. Kilgallen served as Managing Editor with Government Food Service Magazine, published by EBM Publications (Westbury, NY). Her role encompassed the management and creation of the national publication's editorial content, including coverage of breaking news, special focuses, major events, conferences and trade shows, and liaison with military public affairs officers to secure approvals. She is credited with helping the publication gain stature as a leading industry source and generating more than $1 million in annual revenues.

In addition, Ms. Kilgallen served as Managing Editor for Radio City Entertainment's Headliner Magazine (Massapequa, NY). For this publication, she wrote and edited feature stories, developed story ideas, supervised writers, communicated with the publicists of artists and assisted with all facets of production, sales and advertising. Her achievements included establishing a new dynamic look and higher quality for the publication. Further reflecting Ms. Kilgallen's media background was her role as Associate Editor with Area Development Magazine (Westbury, NY).

Ms. Kilgallen holds a Bachelor of Science in Magazine Journalism and Communications from Syracuse University's S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications (Syracuse, NY). A member of the Syracuse University Alumni Club of Long Island, she also serves on its Board of Directors. In addition to undergraduate studies at Syracuse University, Ms. Kilgallen attended Hofstra University (Hempstead, NY), earning a Paralegal Studies Certificate and graduating with honors.

She resides with her fiancé, Chris, in Kings Park, NY.
