Brookhaven Memorial Hospital Medical Center has named Austin & Williams their agency of record, selecting the healthcare advertising, branding and marketing agency to develop and execute an integrated strategy designed to take the 306-bed community hospital to the next level.
"We're incredibly excited to have been selected by Brookhaven at such a critical time in the hospital's history," says Eva LaMere, Austin & Williams Executive Vice President. "They're well positioned to become a leading provider in Suffolk County with their state-of-the-art medical services, well-respected physicians and commitment to compassionate patient care. It's our job to communicate that on Long Island, undeniably one of the toughest healthcare markets in the country." The agency is already well on their way, with a comprehensive print, broadcast and online campaign that will strengthen the brand identity Brookhaven began building last year.
"During the agency review process, Austin & Williams really captured the essence of our 'Brookhaven Promise' positioning and presented several conceptual strategies that showed how we could take it to the next level creatively, while maintaining the integrity of the campaign," explains Christopher S. Banks, Vice President of Development and External Relations for Brookhaven Memorial Hospital.
"Beyond enhancing the hospital's image, we need to turn it up a notch and convince patients to ‘think Brookhaven first'," Eva explains. The agency, which specializes in understanding – and influencing – how people make important decisions such as selecting a hospital or doctor, has a number of leading physician practices and hospitals on their client list.
