A&W Gives Back - Call us the "Banana Bunch"

January 15, 2010

Austin & Williams has created an "appealing" pro bono campaign for the Hannah Banana Foundation, a non-profit dedicated to brightening the lives of thousands of chronically ill, hospitalized, and terminally ill patients by giving them therapeutic gifts while they're in-care.

Inspired by Hannah "Banana" Prisand, a poet, artist, comic and the mother of the organization's founder and president, Arin Prisand, Hannah lost her courageous battle with cancer in 2008 . . . but her creative and upbeat spirit lives on in the Foundation that carries her name.

Our team has captured Hannah's spirit in our integrated pro-bono campaign, which includes:

  • A refreshed logo that maintains the original's whimsy with a dash of the contemporary.
  • An updated e-newsletter, re-designed and written to update donors on the foundation's progress and also raises awareness about what's happening in the world of cancer treatment.
  • A new website – that's almost ready to launch – that will enable the organization to better market Dance Backwards, Hannah's book of children's poetry, a major source of Foundation funds – and other fundraising activities, such as Hannah Banana ROCKS, the organization's annual benefit concert.
