The members of the Austin & Williams team are feeling good these days: They took home Gold Healthcare Advertising Awards for the newspaper series and website they created for Long Island's largest Orthopedic group, Orlin & Cohen.
Selected by a national panel of judges for its creativity, quality, message effectiveness, consumer appeal and overall impact, A&W's work was one of only 260 entries to earn top honors from the more than 4,000 in the competition. Now in its 27th year, the program sponsored by Healthcare Marketing Report is the oldest, largest and most widely respected healthcare advertising awards competition.
But at Austin & Williams, it's not about awards - it's about results, and the Orlin & Cohen winners showcase both, according to Rick Chiorando, Chief Creative Officer. "The award-winning print series we developed increased patient traffic significantly at each office in the practice," Rick says. "While our website Search Engine Optimization strategies increased online patient bookings an incredible 235 percent."
The consumer print and online initiatives followed a successful physician recruitment effort, also initiated by the agency, that helped Orlin & Cohen increase their staff of board-certified orthopedic subspecialists by 30 percent.
