Austin & Williams Earns an "A+" for NEFCU Website

April 23, 2010

For a website that's as easy to update as it is to navigate, the new Nassau Educators Federal Credit Union (NEFCU) design, created by Austin & Williams, is in a class by itself.

The agency's interactive team used sophisticated, custom content management systems (CMS) to create a site for the Long Island credit union that's incredibly dynamic, intuitive and user-friendly, according to Rick Chiorando, Chief Creative Officer.

"Pretty much the entire home page can be easily updated by NEFCU using our unique CMS so it's always current, fresh and focused on the products and services they're promoting," Chiorando explains. A specialized banking tool also enables NEFCU to create custom pages for deposits, loans and business product, while the latest in website security helps to ensure the confidentiality of member transactions.

"Creating a positive online experience for NEFCU members and prospective members was our main objective for the site redesign," he says. To that end, the agency reconfigured the site's navigation, simplified its forms and other content and incorporated a user-friendly, multiple-tab page design.

"The new site is inviting, visually appealing and very easy to use, giving members quick access to the information and online banking features they want most with the fewest clicks possible." Site functionality includes everything from joining the credit union and referring a friend to managing existing accounts and signing up for special events, making it a vital tool for members as well as for the credit union's marketing efforts.
