Long Island, NY - A new advertising campaign for Touro Law Center created by Austin & Williams that takes a smart, research-driven approach to higher education marketing is generating accolades among members of the legal profession and "blog buzz".
The campaign, which includes print advertising and radio spots in the Central Islip, NY-law school's key market areas, focuses on the creative positioning, "All lawyers are educated. Touro lawyers are prepared." the agency developed based on extensive research with Touro faculty and administrators, students and alumni as well as a competitive analysis of other law schools' marketing campaigns.
"Our research showed that the true differentiator for Touro Law Center is the hands-on practical experience students gain there, right from the start," explains Eva LaMere, Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer at Austin & Williams, a strategic marketing and advertising firm based on Long Island, NY. "This unique blend of theory and practical knowledge make Touro graduates valuable members of any practice who can ‘hit the ground running'. Our campaign effectively communicates that to potential employers and prospective students – and stands out in the competitive law school marketplace."
This innovative marketing approach has captured the attention of the legal community, particularly Susan Cartier Liebel, Esq., who, in her "Build a Solo Practice" blog enthused about Touro's campaign, "this school listened to what employers wanted and what their students wanted." But Liebel isn't the only attorney singing the campaign's praises, according to Linda Howard Weissman, Assistant Dean for Institutional Advancement at Touro Law Center.
"Our print and radio ads are earning great reviews," she says. "Austin & Williams took the time to get to know our institution, our goals and objectives. We continue to be impressed by their attention to detail, creativity and goal-driven work."
Based on Long Island, New York, Austin & Williams is a full-service marketing and advertising agency specializing in research-driven, results-oriented campaigns for clients in ultra-competitive environments such as health care, financial services, higher education and hospitality.
