Austin & Williams (Long Island, NY), a leading New York strategic advertising and marketing agency, announced that Kim Brussell has been promoted to Vice President. In her new role, this 21-year industry veteran will continue to oversee client services and assume an expanded role in the agency's strategic planning and new business development. She previously served as Director of Client Services.
Ms. Brussell joined Austin & Williams in 2002 as an Account Executive and steadily rose through the ranks. Her contributions as an Account Executive earned her successive promotions to Senior Account Executive, Account Supervisor and Director of Client Services. Throughout her tenure at Austin & Williams, she has demonstrated a strong skill set and a commitment to assuring that each client's expectations are not only met, but exceeded. Her ability to effectively manage multiple accounts and meet all client deadlines has been instrumental in the agency's high level of client satisfaction and retention.
At Austin & Williams, Ms. Brussell plays a major role in some of Austin & Williams' largest, most dynamic accounts such as Provident Bank and the Intrepid Sea, Space and Air Museum.
Prior to joining Austin & Williams, Ms. Brussell established a 14-year track record across the spectrum of marketing communications activities including public relations, strategic marketing and special events planning. Her career included Account Supervisor roles with three New York City agencies: HK Communications, Janklow Bender and Earle Palmer Brown. Among her clients were Disney Consumer Products, Wild Planet Toys, the Diet Center, Serengeti Eyewear, Prudential, the Acrylic Council and several software and video game publishers. She also served as a Special Events Manager for the United Cerebral Palsy of Greater Suffolk and a communications freelancer.
Ms. Brussell holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Public Relations from C.W. Post College, where she graduated cum laude.
She resides in Massapequa, NY with her husband and their two children.
