Rick’s East End Corn on the Cob
There's nothing more delicious than fresh Long Island corn. And there's no simpler way to bring out all its delicious-goodness than this.
What You'll Need
- 6 ears of corn, still in husks
- a pre-heated 400°F grill
- oven mitt
- sea salt
- melted butter
- garlic powder
- black and red pepper
The Method
Soak 6 ears of corn in salt water while still in the husks for 2 hours. Place them on a 400°F grill for 30 minutes turning them often. With an oven mitten, husk the corn. Roll in a mixture of melted butter, sea salt, garlic powder, black and red pepper and place back on the grill for 3 to 4 minutes, turning often. Roll the corn a second time in the mixture and place back on the grill until the kernels start to turn a golden brown. Take them off the grill and serve hot!
Trust me, you'll never, ever eat corn any other way again. I guarantee it!
